Samuel Hui is a passionate musician and violinist. He has grown up surrounded by music, enjoying both the violin and piano for 13 years, resulting in a deep love for the beauty and depth of those instruments. Samuel has been under the tutelage of various individuals, including the Rising Star Program at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. 

 

Samuel has performed extensively as a soloist, competing in competitions such as the Sydney Eisteddfod and achieving his Certificate of Performance in 2022. He has also enjoyed playing as an orchestral musician, performing as part of the Sydney Youth Orchestra Program and as Concertmaster of the Sydney Boys High School Symphony Orchestra. 

 

Graduating from Sydney Boys High School in 2024 as the Senior Prefect and Music Prefect, Samuel is now studying a Bachelors of Laws and Commerce at the University of Sydney. Completing his HSC Music 2 in 2023, Samuel received a band 6 score of 93.

 

Samuel enjoys a variety of actives that include playing tennis, going for hikes and early morning runs along Maroubra Beach.
